Terms of Service
Contact: bucketlistwish1@gmail.com
1. Scope
Short Studio Uploader (“the Application”) is a private Windows desktop tool for the sole operator's own authorized channels. It is not a public upload platform, multi-user service, agency tool, downloadable consumer product, or service offered to third parties.
2. YouTube terms
The Application uses YouTube API Services. By using the Application, the operator agrees to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, the YouTube API Services Terms of Service, the YouTube API Services Developer Policies, and the YouTube Community Guidelines.
3. Authorized use and content rights
The Application may be used only with Google accounts and channels controlled by or expressly authorized to the operator. The operator must own, license, or otherwise have all permissions required for every uploaded video, audio track, image, caption, title, description, and localization. The Application must not be used to impersonate a channel owner or publish on behalf of unrelated users.
4. Human review and YouTube actions
Before confirming an upload, the operator must review the destination channel, title, description, tags, category, audience designation, synthetic-media disclosure, subscription notification setting, visibility, translated metadata, caption files, and any scheduled publication time. Uploading requires both an in-application final review and a separate operating-system confirmation.
Where scheduling is selected, the Application sends the video privately first, monitors processing, completes the selected metadata and caption steps, and applies the operator-selected schedule only when the API permits it. YouTube remains responsible for its own processing, publication, policy enforcement, and availability.
5. Prohibited use
The Application must not be used to:
- circumvent YouTube restrictions, quota controls, API audits, or enforcement;
- split one API client across multiple projects to evade quota limits;
- scrape YouTube or access undocumented interfaces;
- download or separate YouTube audiovisual content through the API;
- automate views, likes, comments, subscriptions, or other audience engagement;
- upload unlawful, infringing, deceptive, abusive, or otherwise prohibited content; or
- sell, expose, or use Authorized Data for advertising profiles or unrelated purposes.
6. Privacy and authorization
The Application's data practices are described in the Privacy Policy. The operator may revoke access through the Google security settings page and must follow the documented local deletion procedure after revocation.
7. Availability and responsibility
The Application is provided for internal operational use without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability. Local queue state does not replace YouTube Studio as the authoritative remote status. Removing a local queue record does not delete a remote video. The operator remains responsible for checking the final channel state and correcting any failed or incomplete action.
8. Changes and contact
These terms may be updated when the implemented workflow or applicable policies change. Questions about these terms may be sent to bucketlistwish1@gmail.com.
